Create your first data pipeline

In this quickstart, you'll have Otto create your first data pipeline in Ascend for you! Or, you can follow each step yourself.

Prerequisites

Sign in to Ascend or start your free trial.

Navigate to your Workspace to build

In Ascend, developers (and their agents) work inside their Workspace to build new data pipelines.

Open the Otto assistant

You can either:

1. Click the "Otto assistant" icon toward the top right of the screen
2. Use the Ctrl + I keyboard shortcut

Then, ensure agent mode is enabled.
