Ascend-managed Bedrock

Ascend provides access to various large-language models (LLMs) out-of-the-box via Amazon Bedrock.

tip

You can provision an OpenAI API key or Azure OpenAI endpoint to access additional OpenAI models.

Set your default model

1. In the top-right corner of your Ascend Instance, click on your profile picture and select Settings
2. Navigate to the AI & models section
3. In the Models section, hover over your preferred model and choose Make default to set your default model for Otto chat and other agentic features. You'll know the model is correctly set when it's labeled as Default
