Workspace

Prerequisites

  • Existing Ascend Project
  • Existing Ascend Environment

Creating a Workspace

  • Navigate to the Settings page in by clicking your user icon in the top right corner of the page. Then, click Settings.
  • Click the Workspaces tab.
  • Click the + Add Workspace button.
  • Enter the following information:
    • Title: Specify a name for your Workspace.
    • Environment: Select the Environment you want to use for this Workspace. This is normally dev, staging, or prod.
    • Project: Select the Project you want to use for this Workspace.
    • Branch: Select the branch you want to use for this Workspace or type a new branch name to create a new branch.
    • Base Branch: Select the base branch you want to use for this Workspace. This is normally main.
    • Profile: Select the Profile you want to use for this Workspace. If you don't already have a Profile, you can enter a placeholder value and create a Profile later, or create one locally.
  • Click the Save button.
